Sumner McKane has created a website for his new film project, The Main Frontier, which chronicles the life and culture of northern Maine through the lens of Isaac Walton Simpson’s photography. In addition to creating the film, McKane also scored the soundtrack. Check out the trailer above, more information can be found here.
Her is garnering a lot of buzz as one of 2013’s top films (which is absolutely is), and Arcade Fire’s soundtrack for the film is also quite nice. We’re awaiting an official release (and hoping for some wax), but stream the enchanting “Song on the Beach” above. A trailer for the film is below.

Bernardo Britto’s “Yearbook” ( w/ original score by Eluvium ) won the Short Film Award in Animation at Sundance. The film is about a man hired to compile the definitive history of human existence before the planet blows up. Check out the trailer above.
