Always a tough band to pin down, A Troop of Echoes works in some cross section of jazz, math rock, electronic, post-rock, and maybe even some conventional indie rock. Past efforts have been a bit hit and miss, but the first single from their new album, The Lost Year on Record, sounds promising. Check out “Small Fires” below.
